Stream UK is having a busy start to September, over the next 3 days, we will be participating and working at 5 events.
It is all starting today with the WAN-IFRA (World Association of Newspaper and News Publishers) event at the Canary Wharf Hilton.
The event discusses that the news publishing industry faces a future very different from its past. The days of “business as usual” are gone. Consumers have changed and new technologies are opening up new channels of communication. Traditional newsrooms can no longer meet modern demands. The questions now are what does the new generation newsroom look like, and how does it operate?
At this event we are exhibiting and showcasing our services, most specifically, the award winning Stream Crowdsourcer, currently used by the BBC. We are also filming the conference keynotes and session for on-demand use after the event.
Also today, we are powering the live webinar at 3.30pm for the NMA (New Media Age) titled ‘How to make your email marketing strategy work harder and smash ROI targets. Transactional Emails 2.0: Think Beyond the Purchase’.
Tomorrow, we will return to WAN-IFRA for a final day of exhibiting and filming and will also be exhibiting and broadcasting live from the Media Arts Festival at the Roundhouse in Camden.
The Media Festival Arts in partnership with Arts Council England and the UK Film Council will offer cutting edge content fusing the digital agendas of the arts, film, media and technology. The festival was conceived to provide an environment in which media and arts professionals can meet, share and discuss new opportunities created a rapidly evolving digital media landscape.
We will also be doing a webcast for Marsh in central London.
On Friday we will wrap up our week with the final day at the Media Arts Festival and a live broadcast from Brighton for Rock Feedback.
Keep an eye out at these events for the Stream UK staff.
