Stream UK is very pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at Stream Media Europe, a two day showcase of what is happening currently in the online video and content industries.
We will be demonstrating our enterprise level streaming media solution, Stream Connect which was reviewed as “a simplified yet powerful interactive streaming platform that could be managed by the presenter” (Tim Siglin, Streaming Media Magazine) along with our 2009 Readers Choice award-winning Stream Crowdsourcer – the ingest, transcoding and moderation tool.
Maintaining our position as digital media specialists Stream UK is a finalist in the 2010 Readers Choice Award category ‘Best Streaming Services Provider’. We will also webcast the conference sessions, seminars and keynote speakers live and Stream UK’s Duncan Burbidge will be moderating a conference session on day 1 ‘Best Proactices in Webcasting Lectures and Presentation’ 13.45 on Thursday 14 October.

This month Stream UK Media Services has been nominated for four Streaming Media European – Readers Choice Awards.
Stream UK and their products have been nominated in the following categories:
Transcoding Solution—Hardware, software, or cloud-based solution for encoding and transcoding content for last year’s European Readers Choice award winning product Stream Crowdsourcer.
Streaming Services Provider—Provider of end-to-end streaming services, from capture and encoding to delivery and distribution for the company Stream UK Media Services.
Webcast Platform—Hardware, software, and SaaS solutions for delivering live web events for the webcasting administration tool Stream Connect.
Best Live Webcast of 2010—Most impressive and successful live web event for the work with New Media Agency Que Pasa on the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Series.
Readers and customers may vote for as many categories as they wish and it only takes a few moments.

On 15 September 2009 Lexus held a press conference at the Frankfurt International Motor Show to unveil its new groundbreaking LF-Ch full hybrid premium company concept car. This car heralds a new dawn for Lexus as its younger, bolder and more dynamic than any other Lexus car before.
Two members of the Stream UK team were in Frankfurt at the event to encode the press conference and stream it live using the Stream UK content delivery network (CDN). This was another example of Stream UK’s ability to perform on an international job in short time frame. Stream UK’s team setup, managed and oversaw the live streaming of the event while keeping to a specified budget.
The press conference gained worldwide attention receiving over 650 connections from 26 countries worldwide. An on-demand version of the press conference is available HERE
