Risky Business: The London World Economic Forum 2011
Earlier this month saw Stream UK perform a live webcast from the London World Economic Forum on Global Risk using Stream Connect, marking the latest in a series of ongoing collaborations with leading insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh Plc.
The forum was held as part of a drive to review and discuss the results and ramifications of the recently published Global Risk Report 2011. The report, which centres on the three main ‘risk clusters’: macroeconomic imbalances, the relationship between illicit activities and state fragility and issues surrounding the supply of basic resources, can be found on the World Economic Forum’s website.
Stream UK has this month reaffirmed its relationship with Europe Arab Bank, the London-based subsidiary of one of the world’s largest A-rated international financial institutions, with a live webcast from the 2011 EAB Business Briefing using the industry acclaimed Stream Connect platform.
Held in the Company’s Central London Headquarters to address questions regarding the prospects of the upcoming fiscal year, the live briefing allowed viewers to submit questions via email and receive real-time responses directly from the Executive Team.
Previous Stream UK–EAB collaborations have included the live streaming and on demand delivery of the Arab Bank Group’s 2010 Forum entitled ‘A New Government, A New Banking Era?’ featuring esteemed keynote speaker Angela Knight, Chief Executive of the BBA, and Banker Magazine’s Brian Caplen as guest moderator.
