Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Stream UK continue to lead with way with new streaming technologies. Last week marked the UK launch of the trailer for Universal’s upcoming release ‘9’. The forthcoming full length animation feature film by Tim Burton is set to take the visual experience to a new level, and the online trailer needed to live up to this. Using Microsoft’s new Silverlight Player, and the power of smooth streaming, Stream UK provided encoding, hosting, and delivery services to make this happen – allowing web users to get a real taste of the stunning animation with a HD streaming experience.

This is the first time a major film studio has used Silverlight as a key part of a social media campaign, and looks set to be the way forward.
