StreamUK totals 100 end to end webcasts in 2011

The London based digital media experts provided complete webcasting services (multi-camera production, encoding and global delivery) for a huge variety of clients this year and toppled its previous record of 82 webcasts in 365 days.

With a remaining 41 days left of the year, StreamUK looks to total over 120 premium webcasts for 2011. The 100th webcast of the year was for the international insurance broker Marsh.

StreamUK has observed an overwhelming demand for webcasting from both the corporate and creative sectors. The need for companies to communicate more efficiently has become increasingly important, as organisations look to reap the benefits of modern technology and streaming innovation.

The streaming solutions provider has reported a 50% rise in webcasting enquiries over the last 12 months, delivered by its market leading webcasting platform ‘Stream Connect’. CEO Duncan Burbidge states:

Armistice Day event in Trafalgar Square live now

Stream UK is streaming online the Armistice Day event in London and Swansea live online.

At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month the Two Minute Silence is observed on Armistice Day, the day which marks the end of the First World War.

The Royal British Legion is hosting “Silence in the Square” events to give the public an opportunity to participate in the Two Minute Silence and this year if you are unable to attend the live events, you can view a live webcast from the comfort of your own home or office. Just sign in at www.britishlegion.org.uk/sits

Stream UK have created the registration page and bespoke webcast page and will be ingesting the satellite feed on the day.

So join the public in Trafalgar Square in London and Castle Square in Swansea today for a moment of silence.

The event in London’s Trafalgar Square has a host of special guests to help honour our fallen Service people and to remember those serving today. This annual event is being hosted by television presenter Ben Shephard, with music from The Saturdays, Blake and The London Gospel Choir, and readings by Keeley Hawes and Ben Barnes.
A bugler will be performing the Last Post and Reveille in both locations to mark the start and end of the Two Minute Silence.
