10 Years of success in streaming: StreamUK become UK market leaders
London based online media experts StreamUK has reported 30% growth in 2010 and took another floor at the company’s HQ in Camden Town.
Following the success within the British market, StreamUK now has offices in Madrid and Rome, a response to growing enquiries from Europe.
StreamUK CEO Duncan Burbidge links the success to the company’s three core platforms; StreamConnect for webcasting, StreamMP for website video and Stream CrowdSourcer for transcoding and distribution.

Predicting 35% growth for 2011, the company always reinvests profits. Some of StreamUK’s current key clients include Liverpool FC; the BBC, The Guardian Media Group, Shell, EFSA, Capita, Argos, Barclays and Unilever.

In October 2010, we worked with leading agencies Poke and WRG to webcast some key internal communications to European investors – regarding the new teaming of Orange and T-Mobile. Broadcast live from Vinopolis, we had less than a week to create a branded webcast interface with interactive functionality and facilitate the live broadcast.

Stream ES and Visualmente, collaborated to webcast Blackberry’s Technical IT Seminar for IT Professionals held on the 30th October, 2008. However there was a twist to the event – it all took place in a virtual world!
The Blackberry Experts used Stream Connect Lite to do their audio presentation with PowerPoint synchronisation and viewers connected by navigating through the virtual city and going into virtual rooms.
This one-of-a-kind event attracted many participants with up to 300 concurrent viewers.
