The online media and streaming expert StreamUK furthered its association with the sports industry when it provided technical support for the Rugby League World Cup press conference last week.

The competition stated that the event was Rugby League’s biggest ever international press conference, which featured representatives from all 14 competing nations who were available for interview both in person and online via Google hangout.

The conference was broadcast live on the RLWC YouTube channel last Friday, which streamed England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and France representatives live from the studio, as well as members from Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Italy, USA and the Cook Islands live via Google+.

October 26th marks the day that tickets go on general sale for RLW2013, as well as only a year until the opening ceremony at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
