
The online media solutions provider StreamUK has furthered its association with the football business industry by sponsoring the ‘Non-Premier League Commercial Team of the Year’ category at this year’s inaugural Football Business Awards.
Last year StreamUK revamped Liverpool FC’s online video offering LFC.tv as the company aligned its online video platform StreamMP with some of the world’s most competitive football clubs. This year Liverpool FC claimed that its online video offering was the most successful online video subscription service of any football club in the world.
StreamUK CEO Duncan Burbidge said, “We are proud to be sponsoring the ‘Non-Premier League Commercial Team’ category, as we have seen some great ambitions realised by non-Premier League clubs through commercial and digital work. The deal sees StreamUK joining other leading industry names including the Football Foundation, Kit Bag, Arena Seating and FC Business, as key partners for the event which will be hosted at Chelsea FC this November.
