Webcasting for Red Bull

Overview

StreamUK were fundamental in providing technical solutions for Red Bull Bedroom Jam, a number of live music series that gave young bands and artists the opportunity to perform live online, where they could be voted by the internet public to progress to play a slot at Download Festival as well as record in the Red Bull Studio.

Each series required a number of services from StreamUK ranging from an on-site production crew to capture each live event, to encoding, streaming and vision mixing the content to thousands of online viewers.

A unique mix of expertise

StreamUK travelled the country to produce, encode and live stream the RBBJ content. Personnel onsite include a Production Manager, Production Assistant and Camera Operators, to make sure that all areas of expertise are covered.

European reach

As a hugely popular live music project, RBBJ even became a hit over sees. StreamUK were able to broadcast the content online further with the help of its content delivery network provider Level3.
