BBC launches Shoutcast service for Nokia Internet Radio

Stream UK is supplying the BBC with mp3 streaming for the new Nokia Internet Radio platform.
The project will make available all of the BBC’s major radio stations and be delivered through mobile phones.
Reliability, redundancy and scaleability are key to the service, so Stream UK has deployed probably the largest multi-homed Shoutcast server network in Europe.
